Time management was a breeze back in my collegiate athlete days. Each month, a new schedule would be waiting for me at my locker, detailing where I needed to be, when I needed to be there, and even what I should wear. Life felt so straightforward, and looking back, I realize how fortunate I was.
As a 30-year-old adult, one would assume I have mastered the art of time management by now. Despite trying various tricks and life hacks, nothing seems to stick. I'm drowning in daily adult activities, and my life is constantly on GO mode. Does anyone else feel the same? đŸ˜…
I'm sure I'm not alone in feeling overwhelmed by the responsibilities of adulting, so, to all my fellow readers grappling with the same challenges, how are you holding up? And if you have successfully found a way to juggle your tasks without the aid of a meticulously planned schedule, please share your wisdom with me.
Despite the chaos of adulting, I am determined to conquer the challenge of time management. While I may feel like I'm constantly treading water in a sea of responsibilities, I refuse to let it overwhelm me. I remind myself that just as I tackled tough opponents on the court, I can also conquer the demands of everyday life. So, I'll dig deep, tap into that same resilience and determination that made me a successful athlete, and push forward with the belief that I can find balance and control in this whirlwind of adult world activities. At least, that's what I'll keep telling myself.
Time management may be my current struggle, but I am not backing down. After all, I am a Washed-Up Athlete... it'd be unlike me to turn away from a challenge.
